08-06-2012 Joint Public Hearing - BOS/VDOT for Proposed Six-Year Secondary Road PlanPUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania
County, Virginia in accordance with §33.1-70.01 of the Code of Virginia, will conduct a
joint public hearing in the General District Courtroom of the Edwin R. Shields
Courthouse Addition in Chatham, Virginia on August 6, 2012 at 7:00 PM. The purpose
of this public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Secondary Six-Year
Plan Construction Program for Fiscal Years 2012/13 through 2017/18 in Pittsylvania
County. Copies of the proposed Plan and Budget may be reviewed at the VDOT District
Office, 4219 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia 24501 and in the Office of the
Pittsylvania County Administrator located in the Captain Martin Building on 1 Center
Street, Chatham, Virginia, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a. m. and
5:00 p. m.
All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be
included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which
documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.
