The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing and rule on (2) Special Use Permit Applications on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. in the General District Courtroom, second floor, Edwin R. Shields Courthouse Addition, Chatham, Virginia. Case 1 Phillip W. Hutson & Susan H. Hutson, R-11-001 – The property is 0.27 acre, located on State Road 865/Hutson Road, in the Chatham-Blairs Election District and shown on the Pittsylvania County Tax Maps as part of GPIN # 1491-65-7149/136-A-48B. The applicants are requesting to rezone the R-1, Residential Suburban Subdivision District portion (approximately 0.27 acre) to A-1, Agricultural District to make the zoning consistent with the remaining 99.08 acres.
