COUNTY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE VIRGINIA JUVENILE COMMUNITY CRIME CONTROL
ACT
VIRGINIA: At the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors' ("Board") Business Meeting on Tuesday,
August 15,2023, in the Board Meeting Room,the following Resolution was presented and adopted:
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors will participate in the Virginia Juvenile
Community Crime Control Act and accept funds appropriate for the purpose set forth in this Act until it notifies the
Department of Juvenile Justice,in writing,that it no longer wishes to participate;and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator is hereby authorized to execute
a local plan on behalf of Pittsylvania County.
