Public hearings will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the General District Courtroom, second floor, Edwin R. Shields Courthouse Addition, Chatham, Virginia. After
the public hearings, the Planning Commission will make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. The schedule contains (3) Rezoning Applications and (2) Sign Permit Applications.

Edwin R. Shields Courthouse Addition, Chatham, Virginia. The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing and rule on (2) Sign Permit Applications on Tuesday, January 12, 2010,
at 7:00 p.m. in the General District Courtroom, second floor, Edwin R. Shields Courthouse Addition, Chatham, Virginia.
Case 1 Albert L. Payne & Sandra D. Payne, R-10-001 – The property is 5.224 acres (per plat), located on State Road 750/Mount Cross Road, in the Chatham-Blairs Election District and shown
on the Pittsylvania County Tax Maps as part of GPIN # 1399-82-8025/149-A-103. The applicants are requesting to rezone from R-1, Residential Suburban Subdivision District to B-2, Business
District, General to sell or lease the property for future commercial development (beauty shop and day spa).
