ADVERTISED: January 20 & 27, 2010 DISTRICT: Dan River REVIEWED BY: d~~~ BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION Brenda Marshall White & Others petitioned the Planning Commission/Board of Supervisors on December 31, 2009, to rezone from R-1, Residential Suburban Subdivision District to A-1, Agricultural District on 33.79 acres. The parcel is shown on our records as GPIN 2430-65-4210/139-A-94. The property will not be rezoned for agricultural use. The applicants would like to rezone this property for future subdivision for family. The applicants would like to divide the property into three (3) equal portions (see map enclosed in Board packet). This parcel does not have adequate road frontage to subdivide as it is currently zoned. Their only option is to rezone the property due to an inadequate amount of road frontage.
