Minnie Maude -$100,000 Local Award -$150,000 Savings from Parks and Recreation Budget -$55,000 Funds available to date -$75,920.06 Request to move $11,500 from recreation equipment line to Wayside Park Project If approved, the available funds would be $87,420.06 WAYSIDE PARK IMPROVEMENTS New Destination Playground Walking Trails Amphitheatre Power Shelters Pavilion Picnic Tables Historical Swinging Bridge Love Sign Bathrooms BRIDGE DESIGN New timber decking New Stringers and Timber Diaphragms New Timber floor beams New Timber rail Repointing Masonry Joints Suspension cable and floor beam hanger system Design includes mobilization and maintenance of traffic Dismantle and remove portion of existing structure FINANCIAL IMPACT Low bid for the project –$292,724 Parks and recreation funds - $87,420.06 Funding needed -$205,303.94 Request funds come from Building and Grounds Improvement fund
