VIRGINIA: The Called Meeting of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors was
held on March 28, 2019, in the Pittsylvania County General District Courtroom, Edwin R.
Shields Courthouse Addition, Chatham, Virginia 24531. Chairman, Dan River District, Joe B.
Davis, called the Meeting to Order at 7:00 PM. The following Members were present:

PUBLIC HEARINGS
FY2020 Proposed Pittsylvania County School Budget
Mr. Davis opened the Public Hearing at 7:01 PM. Melanie Wade, Callands-Gretna District,
stated her support of the schools. She requested that the Board show the community that
education is a priority, and that the educators are valued and appreciated for the outstanding job
they do each and every day in their classrooms. No one else signed up to speak and Mr. Davis
closed the Public Hearing at 7:03 PM.
FY2020 Proposed Pittsylvania County Budget
Mr. Davis opened the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM. No one signed up to speak and Mr. Davis
closed the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM.
ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Davis adjourned the Meeting at 7:04 PM.
