The Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday,
September 17, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the General District Courtroom of the Edwin R. Shields
Courtroom Addition, Chatham, Virginia, 24531, to receive citizen input on the potential adoption
of a new Chapter 11 of Pittsylvania County Code (“PCC”), entitled Public Safety, to replace and
supersede the current PCC Chapter 11. A full text of the proposed Ordinance is available in the
Pittsylvania County Administration Building, 1 Center Street, Chatham, Virginia, 24531, on
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the County’s website,
www.pittsylvaniacountyva.gov.
