The Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, will hold a Public Hearing on
Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the General District Courtroom of the Edwin R. Shields
Courtroom Addition, Chatham, Virginia, 24531, to receive citizen input for a potential amendment
to Pittsylvania County Code (“PCC”), Chapter 35, Section 35-35, Exemptions. The proposed
amendment would add a new item to the existing exemptions, specifically: Electrical transmission
lines sized 138kv or less, constructed to serve a properly zoned industrial park shall be exempt
from this Zoning Ordinance. A full text of the proposed PCC amendment is available in the Office

24531, on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the County’s
