The Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday,
March 12, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the General District Courtroom of the Edwin R. Shields
Courtroom Addition, Chatham, Virginia, 24531, to receive citizen input on the proposed revision
to Pittsylvania County Code (“PCC”) § 6-12.2, creating a new subsection (B) thereof, allowing for
the late filing of Land Use Applications with a $100 per parcel penalty as authorized by Virginia
Code § 58.1-3234(3). A full text of the proposed PCC revision is available in the Office of the
County Administrator, County Administration Building, 1 Center Street, Chatham, Virginia,
24531, on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the County’s website,
