March 15, 2019 Dr. Lisa Shorter, Chair Olde Dominion Agricultural Foundation 19783 US-29 South, Suite G Chatham, VA 24531 Dear Dr. Shorter: It is a pleasure as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Danville Regional Foundation (“DRF”) to present a letter of support to the Olde Dominion Agricultural Foundation (ODAF). Two key components of DRF’s mission statement are that we first strive to be a catalyst for innovation and an agent for transformation and second, that the Foundation invests for the long term in efforts that promise sustained positive impact for the Dan River Region. Our partnerships with your organization exemplify this piece of our mission. We believe that ODAF has, and continues to be, an innovator whose efforts over the long term will provide positive impact for Pittsylvania County and the broader region at large. As you know, DRF has recently made a grant of $659,177 for the expansion of the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex (“ODAC”) and to build the internal capacity of the organization as it hired its first Executive Director. The vision, direction and passion that you and the rest of your volunteer board have shown for the next phase of the facility again illustrates an innovative, long term strategy and is to be commended. We are proud to be a supporter of the next phase of ODAC’s work and believe that when implemented, the expansion will be a crucial part of the continued economic revitalization of Pittsylvania County and the entire Dan River Region. Sincerely, Karl N. Stauber President & CEO 6.b.b Packet Pg. 26 Attachment: Letter of Support ODAC 2019_Edits (1583 : ODAF Land Purchase Request Discussion (Staff Contact: David M.
