Literary Loan Fund Resolution for Gretna High SchoolPITTSYLVANIA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RESOLUTION

VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County,
Virginia, held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, the following resolution was presented and
adopted:
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County School Board .has embarked upon an
extensive renovation/reconstruction project for the aging Gretna-High School at 100 Gretna
Hawk Circle; and
WHEREAS, the 16,619;727 dollar project requires monies to pay for. the needed
renovation/reconstruction project that the County must borrow long term; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth's Literary Loan Fund is a source needed to assist
the County in funding the 1.6,61.9;727 dollar renovation/reconstruction project;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of
Pittsylvania County hereby approves up to the 7,500,000. dollar application madeby the
.Pittsylvania County School Board for the Literary Loan Funds as part of-`the necessary
funding of the Gretna High School renovaton/recanstruction project.
