Literary Loan Fund Resolution for Chatham High SchoolPITTSYLVANIA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RESOLUTION

VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County,
Virginia, held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, the following resolution was presented and
adopted:
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County .School Board has embarked upon an
extensive renovation/reconstruction project for the aging Chatham High School at 100
Cavalier Circle; and
WHEREAS, the 16,682,214 dollar project requires monies to pay for the needed
renovation/reconstruction project that the County must borrow long term; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth"s Literary Loan Fundis a source needed to assist
the County in funding the 16,682,214 dollar renovation/reconstruction project;
NOW .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that .the Board of Supervisors of
Pittsylvania County hereby approves up to 7,500,000 dollar application made by the
Pittsylvania County School Board fore the Literary Loan Funds as part of the necessary
funding of the Chatham High School renovation/reconstruction project.
