WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County Community Actioq Incorporated holds an annual
dinner each year to celebrate the accomplishments of their staff for the projects assisting the
citizens of Pittsylvania County and
WHEREAS, each year the keynote speaker for the Pittsylvania County Community
Action Agency's annual dinner is a noted dignitary and community leader in the Commonwealth
of Virginia and
WHEREAS, the 42nd Annual Dinner Meeting of September 17, 2007 the keynote
speaker is the Honorable Julien Pattersoq Chairman of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and
President and CEO of OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation and
WHEREAS, Mr. Patterson is the chief business leader for all businesses located in the
Commonwealth of Virginia, Mr. Patterson was also a member of the 2005 inaugural class of Lead
Virginia, with the Honorable M. Kate Berger of Pittsylvania County, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Patterson is the chief executive officer of OMNIPLEX World Services
Corporation in Chantilly, Virginia, is a world class leader in providing governmental security
investigations, employing over 150 people and serving 1100 clients per year. OMNIPLEX
International has annual budget of $10.8 million, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Julien Patterson has over 28 years of international policy experience
and business management, supporting his appointment as the chief business leader of the
Commonwealth then
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors
extends a warm and courteous welcome from the people of Pittsylvania County and thank him for
his presentation at the 42^d Annual Dinner Meeting of the Pittsylvania County Community Action
Agency annual dinner.
