VDOT Amend Six Year Plan-Remove SR 825 Replace w/SR1006
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RESOLUTION
2007-04-27
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors has received
significant opposition to the current proposal to paving State Route 825; and
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors is concerned about the
desires of it citizens in the County; and
WHEREAS, there are a number of roads in the Banister District that require
paving.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Pittsylvania
County Board of Supervisors request that the Virginia Department of Transportation
amend the Six-Year Plan to remove State Route $25, and add State Route 1006; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be presented
to the Residency Administrator of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
