VIRGINIA: AT THE REGULAR MEETING `OF THE PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN THE GENERAL .DISTRICT COURTROOM IN
CHATHAM, VIRGINIA ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2006; THE FOLLOWING
RESOLUTION WAS PRESENTED AND ADOPTED:
WHEREAS, pursuant to ,two public hearings; Pittsylvana County wishes to
apply for $700,000' of Virginia Community Development.. Block Grant funds for the
Swedwood Economic Development Project.
WHEREAS, $20840,400 from Swedwood North America and $98T000 in
local funds will also be expended on this project, it is projected that 209. persons will
benefit from the implementation of this project, of which 106 will be low-and
moderate-income persons.
NOW :THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that William D. Sleeper, County
Administratar,',is hereby authorized to sign and submit appropriate documents for the
submittal of this Virginia Community Development Block Grant proposal.
