RESOLUTION

Resolution of Surety the Virginia Department of Transportation
WHEREAS, the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors have voted to install
Welcome Signs on the entrance roads to Pittsylvana County; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation has required a Land Use
Application #298535 for the installation of these signs; and
WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the land Use Permit Application to provide Surety
to the Virginia Department offiransportation in the amount of$5,000 covering performance on
the specific activity of this permit; then _
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County
from General Funds authorize a Surety in he amount of $5,000 for Land Use Permit #298535
to be paid to the Virginia Department of Transportation if necessary concerning specific
activities for the installation of the Welcome Signs in Pittsylvania County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, hat upon satisfactory completion of-the installation
of the signs and the permit, this Surety Resolution is canceled.
