FIRE AND RESCUE VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION (MIKE NEAL)
VIRGINIA: At the Business Meeting of the Pittsylvania County Board of
Supervisors on October 15, 2019, in the General District Courtroom of the Edwin R. Shields
Courthouse Addition, the following Resolution was presented and adopted:
WHEREAS, volunteers give their time effortlessly without expecting anything in return;
and
WHEREAS,Mike Neal has spent 50(fifty) years volunteering with the Ringgold Fire and
Rescue Department in Pittsylvania County, Virginia (the"County"); and
WHEREAS, his countless hours of volunteerism have helped provide guidance and
assistance in moments where seconds matter and his selfless devotion of personal time and
resources have helped to maximize the quality of life for those in his community; and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania
County, Virginia, express their sincere appreciation to Mr. Neal for the noble dedication of his
time towards Fire and Rescue within the County; and
