Meeting was called to order by Chairman Cowan.
Roll Call:
Present: Jennifer Maurkais (Callands Rescue), Scott Cowan (Laurel Grove), Jim Davis, Scottie Adams (Cool Branch
Rescue), Mike Shelton (640 Rescue), Tony Seay (Blairs Fire & Rescue), Riley Adkins, (Mt. Cross Fire & Rescue)
Absent: Steve Finkner, Dr. Dallara,
Guests: Carroll Quick, Paul Gammon, Donnell Hairston, Judy Shelton
Agenda was provided and approved.
Minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
Item 2: Med3000 Update
Chairman will contact Med3000 representative to come to a special called meeting (Date to be announced) when
Med3000 rep will be available. Location of special called meeting will be at Blairs Fire & Rescue. No significant issues
were addressed. However, agency training is being considered if needed. Chairman requested updated contacts from all
agencies.
Item 3: Financial Update
Jim Davis provided financial report to all agencies. Copies will be distributed to all on the email as an attachment.
Item 4: Funding Distribution.
Motion was made by Scottie Adams to distribute 100% of all participating agencies of Fiscal year 11/12 ending June 30,
2012 minus any operating costs as paid by the County. Riley Adkins seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Scottie Adams to distribute on a quarterly basis of the last Internal audited revenues as conducted
by the County Finance Department at 100% minus any operating costs as paid by the County. Funds will be distributed

within the first 10 business days of the new quarter automatically by the County Finance Department. Riley Adkins
seconded the motion. Motion carried. (*Note* this will retain the last quarter of funds received within the County’s
Enterprise Fund).

Next Meeting Date: March 13, 2013 6:30PM County Administrators Conference Room Capt. Martins Building Center St,
Chatham.
