Meeting was called to order by Chairman Cowan.
Minutes from the previous meeting were approved as read.
Medicare has to conduct a site visit to all participating agencies.
All agencies should be using “Facts Sheet” at the hospital to obtain insurance information prior to
release of patient and before leaving.
The official billing date for Pittsylvania County is Sept 1. Motion by Scottie Adams, 2nd by Riley Adkins.
Motion carried.
Coy Harville made motion to set the rates the same and to use billing zones. Scottie Adams 2nd, motion
approved.
It was discussed that training needed to be established with Image Trends and additional HIPPA training.
Mark Malano needs a list from each Squad as to who will be the contact person.
MED3000 will provide FEDEX mailers to each agency and they need to submit once a week.
Coy Harville made the motion to remove #8 Exhibit 2, Scottie Adams 2nd, motion approved.
