Minutes from the previous meeting were approved. Motion by Riley Adkins, Seconded by Dean Fowler. Passed

Item 5: Regional One EMS Contract
A discussion concerning the date of the end of the contract and what action is necessary if th e County wants
to advertise a new contract. Jim Davis advised that the County must provide a notice no less than 60 days to
ROEMS that a new RFP will be issued.

Tim Duffer discussed that he wanted to provide new enhancements for service to the County but t here may
be costs associated with it. Chief Fowler advised Tim Duffer to meet with him and show him those
enhancements and they (Fire & Rescue Association) will look into any budgetary and contract changes to take
before the County Administrator.
Motion was made by Chief Fowler to have ROEMS to notify CECOM on a daily shift change basis of their
staffing on the county trucks. Example ROEMS will notify via radio daily the unit numbers assigned and their
level of service on each truck. Motion seconded by Riley Adkins, motion carried. Jim Davis is to notify Tim
Duffer by letter of this request.
EMAC is requesting that the Fire & Rescue association review the next year budget appropriation for Block Funding for
the three outside EMS agencies that provide 1st due service area of response. Motion by Chief Alan Roberts, seconded
by Riley Adkins, motion carried.
Chief Roberts made motion that the Fire & Rescue Association keep the 2nd transport in next years budget. Seconded
by Riley Adkins, motion carried. (Omitted from first draft.)
