Meeting was called to order by Scottie Adams, Chair
Moment of Silence observed
Item 1: Agenda was provided and approved.
Minutes from the previous meeting were approved. Motion by Riley Adkins, Seconded by Scott Cowan. Passed
Item 2: Billing Issues or concerns:
Mt. Cross Fire & Rescue did not receive a quarterly payment for the 1st quarter of this year and wanted to know why
they are being held for the 2nd quarter. Records show approximately $14K being held in 2nd quarter. Even though Mt.
Cross was running EMS calls they were not submitting their reports to MED3000 for billing. This was discovered with
their leadership change and they started having bills submitted and payments were being received in the 2nd quarter.
Mr. Adkins was reminded by the Chairman that it was approved according to the June 2013 EMAC Minutes that all
agencies would be held back 1 quarter distribution to keep the account solvent to handle any discrepancies of insurance
billings or other financial complaints with Med3000. Mr. Adkins requested that someone attend their board meeting this
coming Monday night July 20th to explain to their board. Jim Davis to attend.

EMAC is requesting that the Fire & Rescue association research grant opportunities for EZIO Kits. A letter will be sent to
Chief Fowler.
