Subject: Organization Meeting of the Board of Equalization
An organizational meeting of the Board of Equalization has been scheduled for Thursday,
January 23, 2014 at 9:00am in the County Administration Conference room located in the
Captain Martin Building on 1 Center Street in Chatham, Virginia. It is anticipated that this
meeting will only last approximately 30 minutes, during which time your board will need to elect a
Chairman and set dates to hold hearings. If you have not already done so, please arrange with the
Clerk of Circuit Court to perform your Oath of Office prior to attending this meeting.
