TO THE HONORABLE SUPERVISORS OF PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY
WHEREAS, your Petitioner Joel Bryant, did petition the Pittsylvania County Board of
Supervisors to rezone the above -referenced parcels of land from R-1, Residential Suburban Subdivision
District, to A-1, Agricultural District.
WHEREAS, after due legal notice as required by Section 15.2-2204 of Code of Virginia of 1950,
as amended, the Planning Commission did hold a public hearing on May 2, 2023, at which time all parties
in interest were given opportunity to be heard; and
WHEREAS, after full consideration at the public hearing held on June 20, 2023, the Pittsylvania
County Board of Supervisors determined that the rezoning be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED that the aforementioned parcels of land, which is
contained in the Pittsylvania County tax maps as parcel #s 2308-87-4127 & 2308-86-8894 and legally
described below be rezoned to A-1,Agricultural District.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY. 51.31 acres on one parcel of land, generally located within the
Westover Election District, and recorded as parcel #s 2308-87-4127 & 2308-86-8894 in the Pittsylvania
County tax records.
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this be transmitted to the Zoning Administrator and
that she be directed to reflect that change on the official Zoning Map of Pittsylvania County.
