Public Hearing
6. The Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on
Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., in the General District Courtroom of the
Edwin R. Shields Courtroom Addition in Chatham, Virginia, to receive citizen input on
proposed amendments to Pittsylvania County Code (“PCC”) Chapter 6: PCC § 6 -3.1.3,
involving household goods exempt from taxation.
Requires a Motion and a Roll Call Vote
7. The Board of Supervisors of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on
Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., in the General District Courtroom of the
Edwin R. Shields Courtroom Addition in Chatham, Virginia, to receive citizen input on
proposed revisions to Pittsylvania County Code (“PCC”) to PCC § 6-12.1(C), Land Use
Revalidation Form; Late Filing Fee.
Requires a Motion and a Roll Call Vote

motion was made by Mr. Barber, seconded by Mr. Blackstock, which required a 10-Day
Layover that has been met. Requires a Roll Call Vote
11. Authorization for Pittsylvania County Service Authority to spend up to $185,000 for the
Blairs Water/Sewer Line Project.

12. Recommendations from Legislative Committee – The Legislative Committee will meet at

presented to the full Board:
