applicant is requcsting a Variance to
Sec[ion 35-182. Minimum Yard
Uimensions. (B.) Side Setback, of the
Pittsylvaoia County 7,oning Ordinance.
A Variance of 26 feet is oecded to the
side setback to allow for constmetion of
a new church sanctuary and drive-under
canopy. The petitioner has 454.76 feet
of road frontage. Ten percent (10%) of
the road frontage would be 45.48 feet;
however, lhe applicant can only meet
19.51 feet off the side setback;
therefore, a variance of 26 feet is
needed to meet the side setback
requirements. The Comprehensive Plan
