Public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed amendment to Chapter 16; Sheriff’s Department; Sec. 16-2-Employment of Off-Duty Officers, of the Pittsylvania County Code to meet the requirements of §15.2-1712 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended. 7. Public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed amendment to Chapter 17; Solid Waste Disposal, of the Pittsylvania County Code to meet the requirements of §15.2-2159(A) of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, for code updates to become effective July 1, 2013 that would prohibit a Solid Waste Disposal Fee being levied upon persons whose residential waste is not disposed of in the County’s Landfill, provided that said nondisposal is documented, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Commissioner of Revenue’s Office, by the collector or generator of such waste. 8. Public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed amendment to Sec. 42- 8(B)(4)-Street and Road Names; Signage, of the Pittsylvani a County Code. This proposed amendment would allow street signage that would reach private properties that are not in developments or subdivisions into the 911 System of Pittsylvania County; that the cost of such sign would be $150 for a double-faced sign and $50 for the installation and replacement at no cost to the citizen.
