Kenneth G. Simpson petirioned the Planning Commission/Boazd of Zoning Appeals on September 27, 2012,
requesting a Special Use Pemut on 4.50 acxes, shown on the Pittsylvania Counry Tax maps as GPIN # 2524-84
1259, located on State Road 665/Rockfoid School Road, in the Staunton Rivet Elecrion District.
The applicant would like to place a single-wide mobile home on this ptoperty foi his gcanddaughtex's residence.
The applicant does not know the model of the single-avide mobile home, as it has not yet been pucchased.

petitionez's request be granted. During the discussion, it was stated there are single-wide mobile homes up the

WHEREAS, your Petitioner, Kenneth G. Simpson, has filed with the Secretary to the
Zoning Administrator a petition to obtain a Special Use Permit for placement of a single-wide
mobile home for his granddaughter's residence.
WHEREAS, the pedtion was referred to the Planning Commission which, considered
this petition in a public hearing on November 8, 2012; and
WHEREAS, at that public hearing all parties in interest were afforded an opportunity to
be heard; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after due considera6on has recommended to the
Pittsylvania County Boazd of Zoning Appeals that the Special Use Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE Tl RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends to
the Pittsylvania County Boazd of Zoning Appeals that the above-referenced pazcel of land be
granted the Special Use Permit.
